Concert Mägo de Oz: 28-09-2007

Here chronicles the only concert that I regret having gone. And it was because I did not like, but the reasons will give them the final.

To continue the tradition, here's proof that I was:
Given that the concert could be expected to finish at about the time you close the South Metro, and like trying to catch an owl could be death, I implemented a tactic that call, as Cruz y Raya, "Technique of Pofesioná." The day before I left the car parked in the Leganés, particularly in the Gómez Ulla Hospital car park to take a return as comfortable as possible. Is to bring the car the same day overwhelms me if you do not find a parking spot.

The weather in September was very nice and we did not care to wait a long line outside my coleguilla Cover Roger and me. Once inside, as not many people yet, we could bring enough to the stage, positions we hold. The starting charge was Jorge Salan. I was very excited to see him again, he had eaten with coconut Roger was very good and had spent the previous two albums. I learned that a third album was released shortly before the concert and did not give me time to get it. If he had I probably would not have been a big disappointment because I knew what I was going. Unlike in previous albums, now ... CANTA JORGE!
to stick my Mother when I saw him approach the microphone and begin. I kept thinking: But hey!, "Where are Pau Sastre and Toni Guerrero? And I expected a similar concert at the Sala Arena . Nothing is further from the truth. Maybe it's desire to influence or simply not want to depend on the availability of these singers, but I do not like that now he sings. When you like a group you become a voice and if change is not the same (eg Halloween) Not detract, because it has a lot, but I do not like. Sorry George, my records will be left alone with your two albums. But that despite being the worst aspect was not all bad, I missed more than companion Jorge: There were no bagpipes or flute. He played only 8 tracks, which also disappointed me. While I understand that he could not because then I would give everything to play with Mago.

This was the setlist: Under the Moon

Dedication (Thin Lizzy)

One Way Driving Through the Tunnel
Back in Time
The Endless Battle
You Give Love a Bad Name (Bon Jovi)
Damned Land

Here I put two videos:

Explaining to Roger all my impressions described above we hope to Sínkope pass processing, because either we like. To me more right, because I do not like even the kings of this style (called Rock Urbano): Extremoduro, Marea. The music itself does not upset me, but I hate when they sing with what I call "pimp voice." Past 10:30 am presented by left Mägo Willy Toledo. In short (because for reasons I will explain below I do not want to devote a lot of lines) was a good concert that I really liked. José sang very well, the guitars were perfect and inflatable puppets had their point.

And photos here.

And now comes the part where I reveal why I have now caught Mägo disgust. But instead of explaining just leave a link to download a file that has been carefully worked a guy who calls Darkman. I do not agree with everything he says, as popular songs or classical music is legal to copy it, and Simon & Garfunkel is itself already a version of which is original, but with the main idea they are a plagiarist.
